SOUTHMACH 2019 is around the corner and we have some exciting presentations lined up for you! Our CEO and Senior Engineering Analyst, Greg Morehouse will be presenting a paper on Better By Analysis® - Drive business results through effective mechanical analysis & simulation. And Daniel Paris our Product Development Manager will be presenting a paper on Delivering Product Benefit through Continuous Validation. Check out the details below!
Delivering Product Benefit through Continuous Validation
Do you design, develop or manufacture products? Have you struggled with product-market fit? Are you worried about warranty blow-back from releasing your brand new product without enough testing?
This presentation outlines, with examples, how a company that lives by a continuous, concurrent, product validation delivers consistent outcomes that benefit your team, your users, and your business.
With 17 years of product design and development experience at Tait Communications, Cubic Defense, and Fisher & Paykel Appliances Daniel now heads the Product Development Team at Motovated Design & Analysis.
A pragmatic believer that great design is the result of strong user insight and creativity in meeting the challenge at hand. The bigger the challenge, the greater the excitement, and the larger the teams opportunity to provide benefit becomes!
Daniel will be presenting his paper on 22nd May at 3:15 pm. Click here to register a free seat! Click here
Better By Analysis® - Drive business results through effective mechanical analysis & simulation
The use of simulation technologies such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to optimise component life both during design and to rectify problems is well established. Whether the analyst is an external consultant or direct hire however, implementing an effective analysis approach that truly drives business results remains a challenge for a lot of NZ companies.
In the first part of the presentation, the author shares insights and examples from direct experience leading analysis teams on how to dramatically increase both the quality and quantity of simulation output using a “Better by Analysis” approach. This methodology applies the rapid, self-correcting “Agile” and “Lean Product and Process Development” concepts to rigorous mechanical engineering analysis.
In the second part of the presentation a case study will be reviewed, with a question and answer session to clarify. Come join us!
Catch Greg live on 23rd may at 11:30 am. If you like to grab a free seat, please register here- Click here
Unfortunately, Daniel broke his collar bone and ribs during a cycling race event and he is recovering well and sound. We might have Carlos, one of our product design engineers, presenting the paper!
